50 IS THE NEW 20 | Watch, out #GENZ! ⚡

Even if Gen Z is considered as the new wave for consumers to follow, the older generation is still kicking—and don’t hesitate to speak about health-and-beauty issues that were formerly ‘taboo,’ especially via celebrity ambassadors.

TABOO TOPICS ARE OVER! Following Gwyneth Paltrow and her goop.com empire, or the actress Judy Greer, with the new brand Wile, 40-plus women are opening up about menopause.

THE ‘SILVER REVOLUTION’: a growing movement that embraces gray hair and fighting ageism, backed by celebrities & influencers. And beauty brands have taken notice. Even Walmart offers the new range: ‘Go Grey,’ developed by the hair-dye brand Developlus. Speaking of which, hashtags like #GrayHairDontCare, #EmbraceTheGray and #GrayHairMovement have gained momentum on social media, particularly during the lockdown phase of the pandemic. Did we mentioned the Sex & the City spinoff, where the main characters Carrie and Miranda proudly sport their silver locks?!

FASHION REWIND. It’s been a few years since we’ve seen older women appear modeling on the runway. Lately, the Parisian unisex brand AMI PARIS brought back Laetitia Casta, but this diversity trend zenith might just be the Versace fashion show, which took Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer & Cindy Crawford on stage. A very chic ’80s reboot!
