Did you see the major social media clean up?

We knew that minimalism was a huge fashion trend but we didn’t know it could be applied to social media – the cradle of the more, the faster, the bigger.

1️⃣ Earlier this year, The fifty-five year-old Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta deleted all its posts of its Instagram account, leaving 2.5 million disoriented followers.

2️⃣ A few days ago, the 11,6 million BALENCIAGA followers woke up with nothing to like or repost but an empty account.

Who’s next?

➡️ A strategic marketing move or a desire for a fresh start? Maybe an arrival of a new designer? The lesson to be learned is that the brand has never made such buzz.
